Expose icon in hierarchy

Has the option to expose an icon for a hierarchy container been removed in Ventuz 6? My muscle memory still had Ctrl + Shift + X to do this but it's not doing anything. After searching I still come across it in the manual: https://www.ventuz.com/support/help/latest/ShortcutsHierarchyEditor.html?itm=...

Re: Audio video sync - low framerate audio glitches

Yes it's been a while that I really played with Ventuz! But old habits die hard and even my muscle memory seems to trick all kinds of cool features I remember from way back when :-) Audio is combined with the video clip. Actually too very similar clips are running and both have audio but in one it's...

Audio video sync - low framerate audio glitches

I'm working on a project that used to be created in Ventuz 6.3 and since I 'upgraded' it to ventuz 6.9.4 we're having a few audio issues. It used to be that clips would be playing (on high systemload) and skipping frames, but audio kept playing without glitches. Somewhere along the line it seems tha...

Re: Take Template

You could do triggers to a normal animation from the scene animation. THen make the transition times between the stages in the scene anmiation really short and you won't have director waiting for animations to complete. Obviously you should take care that your other animations work well when they di...

Re: Scene layers and Scene Datas

Hi Greg, I tried this first with a scene port as I remembered that would just work if you pressed the right buttons. Then tried to recreate this with a scene layer. The trick to access the data is to first click on the pencil mark on the scene layer (after you loaded the scene). Then in the content ...

Re: NDI 3.5

The NDI scan converter will just be a tool you can download. I bet that Ventuz is already doing the color conversion internally on the GPU. Also in theory you could probably obtain the Processing.NDI.Lib.x64.dll from the new v3.5 SDK (when it will be released after NAB) and update that to use with V...

Re: NDI Timecode

NewTek also added a whole bunch of timecode related stuff to their newly release v3 version of the API. So in general I'd say it should be possible

Re: parallele desktop for mac

For occasional editing of scenes Parallels works fine (if the scene is not too complex) but bootcamp will be better or just buy a decent windows laptop/desktop just for Ventuz :-)

Re: Runtime Error

I've seen this too on my development system. It had Hyper-V installed with a virtual network. After deleting this network as I wasn't actively using it, Ventuz was able to start again. Could very well be something that changed with special network stuff in a recent windows 10 update as I think I've ...

Re: Designer UI on High DPI screens

@Ventuz does the new .net framework 4.7 help with this? Saw a mention in one of the presentations from MS Build event that all winforms apps should enter the DPI scaling mode much better now. Using the manifest trick for now, but native support would probably be even better :-) https://blogs.msdn.mi...
