VideoCodec Suppory in Ventuz

hi,

I have a dpx sequence file whose size is 100G.

I extracted mp4 video file using prores and h265.

The reason I used those codec is because those codec gave me the best quality in performance. It works fine with my machine(not in Ventuz) w/ win7 64bit, ssd256m 1ea, 32g ram, firepro w9100, i7 6th generation.

I know Ventuz does not support those codec seeing ventuz help about video codec. When I extracted mp4 using those codec, I cannot play those mp4 files in Ventuz.

Is there any wirkaround I can make thise mp4 files in Ventuz?
Any advice would be great.

Hi Poly!

H265 and Apple ProRes are not supported in Ventuz 4 and there is no workaround.

You would have to experiment with the settings for H264 to get best quality.

Thanks for your reply. I read Ventuz help and know what to use.

When it comes to mov, what codec do you recommend?
There are many codec for mov such as h264, video codec, animation codec.
The resolution is 4K.
