Layout configuration wont show test pattern

The hardest part about this issue is its intermittent and have been unable to find a correlation why sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

ventuz runtime is running full screen
machine is running triple monitor eye infinity

Issue. layout configuration doesn't accurately adjust pixel space or let me fire test patterns
click to show test pattern nothing happens.
drag monitors around to adjust configuration. I can see that pixel space sizing is changing but its not accurately showing where the monitor is moving too..

sometimes we delete configuration and create a new and it starts to work ... ie test patterns fire when called and when i reconfigure monitors positions i can see the pixels move to the spot i expect them to be. This is not a sure fire solution as sometimes creating a new configuration doesn't solve the issue so the past 2 shows while trying to get wall configurations right we have had this problem we ended up deleting and configuring layout configuration over and over until all of a sudden it starts to work and then we are terrified to touch it again until end of show.

Tried
putting computer into a group
adjusting machine id's
group and id set to 0
firing on same machine or remotely configured

Pulling my hair out! Need the help of a ventuz guru!

You have to set the Group IDs and System IDs to 1. If they are at 0 nothing works. I just had the same problem with shaping.
ID needs to be 1 in single mode and 1,2,3, ... in Cluster mode. Do NOT use ID=0!

Hi!

First of all, did you read following documentation parts?

Your Runtime machine should have ID > 0! 'Zero' is reserved for 'Cluster-Preview'; this means that you can preview a multi-machine Cluster on a single machine.
Changes in the layout configuration (RenderSetup) are only applied on 'Save'. That's handled this way because otherwise every move of a screen could cause a device reset on the Runtime machine.
Shaping data is updated immediately.
If you create a new RenderSetup in the Config Editor (pressing '+'-Button on main page) for the running target machine, make sure to activate the new RenderSetup in the dialog following following the name box.
If you want to change to a different RenderSetup while a machine is running, use the Live Options editor.

I think these are pretty all pitfalls.
