Spline Mover for Ventuz

Hiho,

you need splines for your ventuz animations?
We have a simple solution and it´s included in our ventuz 4 particle system as a stand alone tool.
Ventuz 3 is also available on request.

just export a .fbx spline from a 3d tool of your choice and see your animations moving on that imported spline.

here a small demo:

For our plugins you need to copy a .dll file on your dongle, otherwise you get some warnings :)

We hope you like it!

Works nicely, but have had no luck with my own fbx splines out of C4D.

Tried a standard Helix shape but the Splinemover is not showing anything. Any particular settings in the fbx exporter need to be set in C4d?

Regarding the video in hgoodsirs post: I am surprised that didnt come to market when echtzeitwerk developed it. And that was 3 years ago!!

Regards

Peter

hi peter,

you have to create a bezier splines and export it in the ASCII Format.
See screenshot from softimage.

We test it with max, maya and softimage and it works well.

i don´t know cinema4d and i hope you get it running with the right export parameters.
