Ventuz4 Nodes in Ventuz 5

I know, that we can use Ventuz 4 Nodes in Ventuz 5, but what i don't know is if this has any disadvantage compared to Ventuz 4.

I know, sometime we can not produce the Look of Ventuz 5 but this is not in all Scenes necessary. But if we could work with V4 nodes many thing go faster. So does it has any disadvantage except of missing features? Is performance the same like in V4?

I would like to decide Layer dependent if i use Ventuz 4 or Ventuz 5 Nodes

You can use many of the old nodes in legacy mode, yes. No, the performance will not be as good as in V5 mode, but yes it will work and should look exactly the same as in V4.
