Hi,
I am setting up a selection of revolving images using touch rotation. Can anyone have a quick look at the attached vza and help me out please?
I have set up the scene for the user to simply swipe up and down anywhere on the screen to revolve the set of images. Each image also has a touch button in the container to select the image.
The issue i am having is, when you swipe up, the images roll up the screen (thats exactly what i want), but if you begin the touch on an image that is in the background, the image begin to revolve in the opposite direction.
obviously the opposite happens when you swipe down the screen to rotate the images in the reverse direction.
I have used a cylinder proxy in the hop that this wouldnt happen, but the image still seem affect the rotation direction when touched. Ive tried deactivating the touch buttons, but this makes no difference.
Any help on how i stop this happening??
Thanks
Chris

Re: Touch Rotation Issue
Hi Chriss!
I'm not sure what you expect!
For me the behaviour is physically correct. Moving the back of a cylinder up rotates it in the opposite direction compared to moving the front up.
Cheers
Karol

Re: Touch Rotation Issue
Hi Karol,
thanks for the reply
Lets say you check visible on the proxy, the back of the cylinder is no longer touchable as the nearest side is always closer in Z. It then only rotates up with an up swipe and down with a down swipe, it disregards the rear touch entirely.
This is the behavior i want to achieve. Is this possible? or do i need a different set up?
Thanks
Chris
