Web browser play full frame youtube video

Post by shermanpat » 08 Mar 2014, 17:05

Trying to load some youtube videos full frame and auto play. I can hear the video play but the browser just shows grey. When I look at the windows audio mixer the audio is coming from Awesomium v1.65.

I am using a link like this "http://www.youtube.com/v/1hZ98an9wjo&autoplay=1" I can hear it playing but not see it. This link when in a normal browser just show the video full size in the browser.

I can view the normal page view with the link like this "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1hZ98an9wjo".

thanks for any tips on getting this to be viewable.

I never used the web browser node but I am pretty sure that is not an easy thing you want. I found this in the Ventuz manual:

Adobe Flash and Microsoft Silverlight have direct system access that circumvents Ventuz. If for example a Flash embedded video goes to fullscreen, Windows will have Ventuz drop out of fullscreen mode. Similar, a Flash content can manipulate the sound device which may disrupt correct operation of Ventuz. Beware of Flash/Silverlight content that uses hardware resources.

There might be a focus problem. Or a browser extension issue. Have you tried video playback with HTML5? I am assuming you are trying to play back a Flash video. Flash is very, very tricky. You might have to deactivate its hardware acceleration.

So I did see that if you click to go fullscreen that it does launch flash out side of ventuz. But the links that I am trying are just to have it show only the video in the browser in frame. Like in the image here.Image

This is where the audio plays but the image of the browser is grey almost black no video shown. But it does no have any flash launched outside of ventuz. Was hoping that I could maybe find some options or info on the Awesomium v1.65 what windows shows is playing the audio.
