Animation control Scrub and play

Post by Robert » 18 Feb 2014, 23:33

Hi,

We are using this command:
CONNECTION
"C<ConnectionID>[:<speed/position>]"

We are looking for a way to scrub into an animation and to play the animation from this scrub time position remotely like in Dataton Watchout. If it's definitely not possible, my question could be: what is the purpose of this scrub command?

Hi Robert!

This feature you are currently looking at was basically implemented to control the Animation timeline from Director for a kind of timeline scrubbing.
This is not used, yet!
And there is definitely no 'Continue' command right now.

Cheers

Hi Karol,

Thx to answer... again :)

This feature is something we wait since at least Ventuz 2008.
Since Ventuz attempt to reach most of commons Events market constraints.
My question now is what is "plan B" :)
Is it something you have in your road map?
Even if this feature is not going to be release in Director soon, the opportunity to be able to implement this functionality by ourself within a director plugin would make our life easier.

Regards,

Robert

We will take this into view but we have currently other topics on the high-priority roadmap.

Cheers
