Importing animation from Collada

Post by Lukasz_stryjek » 09 Feb 2012, 18:51

Hey everyone.

On forum archive I read it is possible to import keyframe animation from DAE file exported properly with FCollada plugin. However I am unable to locate the plugin as links have expired.

Is there a way to get FCollada anywhere?
Is there any other way to import animation from outside Ventuz?

Regards and thanks in advance.

Hey Lukasz,

Ventuz does not need an additional plugin to import animation within a Collada file. It does so out of the box. Just make sure that you have it all exported properly and you should be good to go!

Hello and thanks for reply!

I mentioned FCollada because I read it is needed for export, for example from 3DS Max.

Do you mean it is possible to just use FBX Collada exporter in Max? If so it is just what I need.
