Ventuz - Compulite DMX Patching

Post by publigood » 13 Nov 2012, 09:38

Hi, this probably sounds like an obsolete "how to" request (the usage of Ventuz for our projects is very very easy) but we're stuck a little:

the setup is based on a Ventuz 3 beta (32) with Designer License and a Compulite Vector Blue.
We're trying to bind the two, sending DMX values from the Compulite to a DMX In node in Ventuz. Once the DMX In Range1 is created in Ventuz (with an ideal channel set to be 511), the error log/report says that this Channel is unusable.
The same for the other 0-4095 channels, any range.

Which way to follow in order to let Ventuz communicate via DMX with the Compulite Vector Blue?

Thank you in advance.

Manuel

hi manuel

is it possible, that you try to send artnet? if you try so: you need to write your own c# script! as far as i know, the sound light dmx card for dmx is not supported anymore!

take a look here...there is what you need to get in dmx....but not artnet!
