even with the advanced frame node there are big performance differences in playing a clip backwards or forward....maybe because the advanced frame node is allways chaching frames forward! the only solution i found is to use two clips....one rendered forward and one reverse and switch between these two clips depending on playing fwd or bwd.

Just for everybodys info, Ventuz 4 can play movies backwards and forward. Every movie clip can be configured to be reverse play capable.
