Animated Material

I have say 3 cubes and each one has 2 materials. Active and Inactive. I wrote an app in Unity with 3 buttons to send OSC commands to Ventuz so each when clicked changes the material on that corresponding cube. This works great. No issues. I am trying to find a way to show the original material and instead of swapping them have an animated material the starts from the top of the cube and animates down until the entire cube is now the active color and vice versa when it's suppose to be disabled. Is this possible in Ventuz? I know how to do something similar in other applications but this is my first time in Ventuz and not sure of it's full capabilities from within.
