Designer 4 and bootcamp win 8.1 display problems

Hi all,
First post here, I apologise if it's been covered before.
I have been trying designer4 on my early 2015 MBP in windows 8.1 and have really bad scaling problems. Text seems ok, but gui icons are tiny, frames don't fit the content properly at all. I've tried all the windows scaling options but Ventuz designer just doesn't play ball.
Is there a fix? Is this a known issue? Will it be fixed in V.5?
I think I attached a couple of images to give an idea.....

Its 2560x1600.
I changed to full HD with 100% scaling and it fixed the problem (but with very small text that my poor old eyes strain with)
Looks like I'll have to go get new glasses :/

I run mbp retina and find similar issues. I have had success running at 1920x1200 with 100% scaling. I have recently started using a Microsoft Surface 4 pro and the scaling issues are very present(in designer). Ventuz doesn't seem to like windows font scaling over 100%. Nothing that breaks the program but it makes reading and seeing some dialogue boxes difficult.

Tell me about it.. the display scaling crap ruined two of my demos at IBC
Anyhow, we know about the issue and are trying to fix it for V5, but it is remarkably insidious, so no guarantees unfortunately.
Cheers,
Erik

I have found these same issues when using high DPI on win 10.
I did find things to look better if I Enabled "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings" under the .EXEs properties menu.
