Key and fill transition

Hello all,
I have recently got a couple of SDI licenses and have an issue I could really use some guidance with.
In the example below the checkered background represents external key over video, the red circles are a video with alpha channel and the other image is a matte of the circles. As the circles move across from left to right, they should cover the live video and reveal the Ventuz content (respresented by the car). I have been experimenting with the Alpha Blending node, but without success. If anyone could point me in the right direction, I would be very grateful.
