OpenType font will not load

Post by robertwinter » 17 Feb 2015, 19:28

I'm having yet another issue getting a specific OpenType Font (.otf) to load into Ventuz. I've tried everything to get it to work. Converted it to .ttf using FontLab, Fontographer, http://onlinefontconverter.com/. Nothing I do will get the font into a Ventuz-compatible format. Windows sees and uses the original and all conversions of the font just fine.

Is there *anything* else I can do? This is a significant problem at the moment.

It looks like I may have solved the problem by importing the font into the project. I had been successfully referencing other fonts by name without the need to import them and never thought this might be the issue.

We converted the font in to true type fonts to solve the issue. There are several issues using otf fonts so it is recommended to stick to ttf only and convert the otf fonts before using them inside of ventuz.

Daniel
