Hi Glaisser,
My opinion is that you should ask for a more specific usage if you want somebody to answer you efficiently.
What are you trying to achieve?
Regards,
Robert

like how to import 3d models with texture ?
how to make the animation from the 3ds max interact inside ventuz ?
if i make a particle system effect how it will be transfered to ventuz
also if its possible to make the output rendered scene from the 3ds max interact in ventuz ?
thanks

You should use use the Collada DAE format when exporting from MAX.
You can only export one material/texture from an external 3D application.
You can only export translation, rotation and scaling of entire meshes directly. No vertex-animation aka deformation unless you use mesh sequences. Dynamics/Simulations have to be baked to meshes and keyframe animations before being exported. You can export lights, cameras and meshes. Check "Single matrix" in the DAE expoter dialog when you want to export animations. You have to render MAX scenes as movies and then you can play/control them in Ventuz animation timelines similar to other compositing tools. Bind the Movie Control property to an animation node and set a keyframe to link it to the timeline.
There are A LOT of other threads in this forum with more details about various aspects of exporting from MAX and importing into Ventuz. You should search for those. Plus you should definitely read the section in the Ventuz manual as it provides good starting tips about what you can and cannot export/import into Ventuz.

Christian has given you a large percentage of the info that you need to get 3D work into ventuz, the rest is testing it all out.
I personally use Maya and Cinema4D. Both work well when exporting to Ventuz in my experience.
The main issue you will have with Max is exporting mesh sequences as max doesnt do it out the box.
Ive seen a couple of max scripts on the web to get this done but never actually used one (i posted a link in a previous thread on this forum, not sure if its still a live link)...but if you can script in max im sure your on to a winner

In Maya there's plenty of scripts available for exporting mesh sequences and in cinema you have RiptidePro which will help.
never used Houdini, never heard anyone mention it here but im sure someone is and they can let you know.
