Use Windows Virtual Keyboard??

Hi there,

For a future project, we'll use a tablet pc.
The user will need to enter some text with ponctuation or not, etc...
Is there any way to use the implemented windows virtual keyboard or do I have to build one in ventuz (like a grid of rectangle with texture or mesh for each key with buttonmode option etc, and using some script to output the wished string)??

Thx a lot for your answers!! ;)

Olivier

Hi Olivier,

You can create a keyboard on Ventuz, no problem with this scene .
If your "tablet PC" work with Windows, ventuz of course (graphic, etc...)

You can find Keyboard node in the = "I/O" (input, output) , like mouse, and other input/output node .

you can take a look at
http://stereolizeshop.com/
this website is like a databank for Ventuz .
you can find ventuz scene with a keyboard for example,
and a lot of other tools, scene, map "ready to use" to help you .

another way, is to control ventuz by Ipad or other tablet, by OSC or other protocol .

I hope this reply help you...
i'm not a superstar on Ventuz (and not good english speaker...)

regards,
Alex

There is also a finished TouchKeyboard for free in the Download section of the Ventuz3 Project Browser.

Cheers!
