Making of a gradient underground

Hi,
for my imported 3d object I do need an underground which borders hide into background (in that case black).
Until now I didn“t found out how to do that?
Do I need a gradient alpha mask to put it on a simple geometry ventuz object or is there a node in Ventuz which has a gradient function implemented (e.g. like in photoshop)?
Thanks.
Cheers Marko

Yes You would need a texture with a simple gradient and add it to simple geometry.
