Sequence Render causing corrupt image files

Hi,
Using latest version of Ventuz 3 Professional on 64bit Windows 7. Outputting a sequence of rendered images for making into a quicktime movie is causing random image files to be corrupted. Occasional images about 12 in 2000 frames have only the top half or top 2/3 rendered - the rest of the image is white. The files are also being reported as corrupt by Adobe After Effects with an error that a particular file is corrupt when making a movie. Examining those images shows the above. They do not report an error when importing into AE.

Have also tried using Quicktime Pro. Images import OK into Quicktime and the video plays fine. Then when exporting as a QT file, Quicktime throws an unexpected error message and crashes out of the render.

Pixel space was 3712 x 824 at 60 fps. Rendering out 1920 x 428 at 30fps. No difference if Tiff or jpgs.

Will do more tests.

Regards

Peter

I can confirm that problem. We are experiences file errors as well. It seems to work better with PNGs. Rendering TIFs definitely has the most file errors. Took us a while to figure out what was wrong. We only usually have the very last pixel line corrupt in one of those files.

Hi!

We will check this.
The interesting question is: Is it the readback from the GPU or the encoding to an image file?

Best Regards

I have just rendered out PNGs and all is fine. Seems to be that Tiffs are the worst as already mentioned.
