I had the same issue after I upgraded from Ventuz3 to Ventuz4.
The new Ventuz version has a new location and is seperate from the ventuz3 version.
Means you have to copy all .dll files from V3 to V4.

In my case was it in the following folders:
C:\Program Files\Ventuz Technology Group\Ventuz 3 (x64)
C:\Program Files\Ventuz Technology Group\Ventuz 4

It worked for me.

I updated to leap version 2.0.4 and have the exactly the same error message now.
I tried to change to leap v1 and it's still not working.

I guess there is something wrong in the reg now.
Unfortunately I'm not that much into deep in OS but Google will help.

Please post your solution if you solved the problem.

Hi,
Was away for a very long time.
In my case, I tried alot. Then when I copy all the files from LeapSDK lib into the Ventuz4 folder, it was all suddenly works fine.
I din really go through which files actually needed to be copied, I just copied all.
(leap.dll , leap.lib , leapCSharp.dll , leapd.lib , leapd.dll , leapJava & leapPython)

I´m trying to implement Leap with SDK v2.3 but i constantly get this error:

11:08 11.03.2016 Error : Leap Motion Listener (C#.net Script): Script Validation failed: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. / The type initializer for 'Leap.LeapPINVOKE' threw an exception. / The type initializer for 'SWIGExceptionHelper' threw an exception. / An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007000B)

what is the incorrect format ?
I installed the currnent net3.5 and 4.0 dlls into GAC and moved the sdk files to the ventuz folder, am i missing sth ? i bet i am... anybody ?
