Accessing Templates from within Presenter

Post by hummerbaendiger » 19 Jan 2015, 10:23

Hi Everyone,

Maybe I'm just missing out the obvious, but how can I include templates into a presentation file so I can access them via the Template Port?
I tried just with one of the help examples but Presenter only shows me these errors:

10:02:04.8 Error : TemplateEngine Unable to read Scene Model from scene __HELP__/templates ventuz://scenes/__HELP__/templates.vzs
10:02:04.8 Error : TemplatePort_RSS (Template Port) Cue failed Unknown Template ventuz://templates/__HELP__|templates/Templates/Text
10:02:04.9 Error : TemplateEngine Unable to read Scene Model from scene __HELP__/templates ventuz://scenes/__HELP__/templates.vzs
10:02:04.9 Error : TemplatePort (Template Port) Cue failed Unknown Template ventuz://templates/__HELP__|templates/Templates/Image

There should be a way to integrate them with the ressource linker, but it doesn't show an entry for templates. Also including the scenes that host the respective templates doesn't help.
Or can it work somehow to have the template scenes in an external folder?

Any ideas?

Thanks for your help!

Thanks to Karol's help I could find the error:
When saving for a deployment (.vpr), the scenes hosting your templates must be saved with lowercase filenames. Else they won't be referenced correctly.
Also make sure you include the lowercase scenes in your ressource linker.

Now the templates can be found properly :D
