MultiSwitch Index of Max/Min

Post by Naggar » 25 Mar 2021, 12:11

Hi,
For Multi switch node when using Floats/Ints, Would it be possible to output the the Index of the output as well?

Say you have a multi switch with 5 inputs

2, 4, 12, 8, 9

If Max mode is selected, there would be two outputs: (Value: 12, Index:2)
If Min mode is selected, there would be two outputs: (Value: 2, Index:0)
and i suppose if two inputs are the same it could give the first index with that value

You can bind the Index to whatever you want and therefore get the actual index ;)

not what he meant. He wants to know the index of the value that's used in cases like min oder max. He's not using the index mode.
