Particle Trail

Post by Naggar » 01 Jul 2019, 10:17

Hi
I was wondering if there is a way to generate a trail mesh/line as a secondary from a particle.
So far I can only fake the effect I want to create by making a very high rate of particles from the secondary. This costs a lot of performance if i have too many particles as primary, and it would still not look good up close.
What would be amazing though is if we could generate a mesh or path - something like the Arrow node from the main particle, with the ability to manipulate age/mesh-type etc and to work in a simulation if possible.

I'm not aware if this is already possible using any of the available modifiers, so if it is please let me know.

Thanks
