Hi there,
is curently the svg support broken for the Path Geometry? I've tried to render a simple AI svg file, but only the points are rendered not the segments.
Here the simple AI svg file:
cheers

Re: Path geo renderer
Hi joschy,
Maybe you already solved the issue... Anyways:
I played around with the file you uploaded. It looks like the importer only interprets as single points if your path doesn't contain Bezier Points but only corner points as in your case. Try adding at least one Bezier point into the path and it should display as a line.
This could either be a bug in the importer or the way Ventuz handles the points later on (as far as I understood they are stored in special buffers after import).
I hope this helps you out for a start.
Best regards, Flo

EDIT:
Yes i have also the problem with straight splines from Illustrator,...
Lets see if it is just export/save settings we have to adjust on illustrator side or if it could be generally fixed on ventuz side.
I used InkScape for the most SVG stuff....
i will keep you posted!

Re: Path geo renderer
We fixed it for the upcoming beta release..
Illustrator generally exports "SVG Shapes" instead of "Lines"...
Thanks for finding this issue

Re: Path geo renderer
