Ventuz 6.6.2.76 R27783 Crashing repeatedly....

Post by joero » 21 Oct 2021, 01:18

Hello,

On (1) of our systems here that has been working ok for months - we are getting a crash that we cannot resolve why....

Version Installer is V6.06.02 and has been running properly for months without incident before this past week. Pic of the error attached..

Windows10 Bld 20H2, 64GB RAM, Nvidia P4000 Driver is 461.09, it's an HP z440, looking at the Win Task Mgr. right after it happens - nothing indicating any hardware issue (plenty of RAM, GPU is not stressed).

I've tried updating .NET (4.8) and re-installed the Ventuz Application twice (removed the Ventuz 6 folder) but it's the same. The error points to an application specfic task(s) but I'm not sure what the next step here is to get it running - as we know it can.

Please advise, regards Joe Rollo Fox Sports

  • have you tried the exact same scene on another machine? Is it a VPR?
  • Are you using any external data that might change your scene's behaviour?

Hi Joe,

did you modify the scene or is it the same scene running for months?
Did this machine install a Windows update in the meantime?

Best Regards
Karol
