6.3 and Cinema4D R20

Post by u-double-u » 22 Jan 2019, 20:56

Is it me or did the Ventuz-Tags (that just got an update with 6.3) move to an unknown different place?
R19 and below working as usual.
I installed it with the tool found in the Ventuz Technology Directory. And it looks like it is present inside the PlugIn Folder.
Cheers.

I knew it‘s me. After removing what seemed to have been an older version of the plugin - blocking the correct installation of the new version - and manually copying that one in place it does work.

great! Thanks for the feedback.

Keep in mind there are several places for the plugin..

the one can be found in %appdata%/maxon/MAXON RELEASE VERSION/plugins

the other in the Program Files/Maxon/RELEASE VERSION/plugins

its better to have them always in the same place.
for me personally i prefer to have everything plugin related installed in the %appdata% maxon plugins directory.

I found the older version in both places and put the correct one into the MAXON R20 plugins folder.
