colorPicker Array

Post by chriss0212 » 24 May 2018, 11:14

Hi,

especially with the new Artnet Node it would be very useful, if we could get an array of pixels out of the colorPicker!

I need ~ 1000 colorPicker in a project to get the pixel's out of a offscreeen render target... is this a performance killer?

Greetings

Christian

I recently made a project that would require something similar.. for that project I made 100 nodes (10x10) and it worked out fine in the end Performance-wise.. but i noticed that if i drop one node in the content My CPU Jumps up a lot.. I'm not sure what "Content Validation" implys but I know that Placing 1 or 100 nodes did not change performance, or at least the difference was not visible.

i am not sure if this is on purpose since it has to revalidate every frame -
anyway i created a ticket for it and lets see if it can be fixed or at least taken out of the statistics...
