Rotate Ventuz Canvas (Alt+L)

Hey guys
how does rotating a canvas in configuration editor work?
When I rotate the canvas in config editor, my output does not change in designer. I understand that production view should be the same, but in ventuz designer I think I'm supposed to get my FHD canvas to become 1080 x 1920.
Please advise anyone..
