HI,

I recently started to learn vvvv and TD. In parallel, I am following other software.
Question - recently came across a software called 'Ventuz'. The community has no comments about this product? What are the strengths and weaknesses? Is it possible to compare TD and Ventuz?

Please help.

Ventuz is made for timeline-based animation, shows and presentations. you could say powerpoint on steriods. meaning ventuz has many convenient tools like a very powerful timeline.

Ventuz new versions have become a lot cheaper and now have touch interfaces. The broadcast version is quite expensive (not as much as Viz) but DVI output is very cost effective. The GUI builder is a bit quirky, but once you get used to their state oriented system, it can be very effective and has some good scripting and C# interfaces.

What do you mean? Compared to TouchDesigner or VVVV building GUI's in Ventuz is much easier. Never saw a engine, where it is that easy to build a GUI as it is in Ventuz.
