SVG-path rendered as filled geom (2D surface)

Post by martin » 25 Feb 2018, 20:38

I tried to find a way to get an svg-path rendered with a shaded surface. I used the geo renderer node for that. At the moment, you can only have paths rendered as an outline, correct?
Btw. I think, the render option "render solid" is quite confusing for someone trying to do something like this.

Render Solid is refered to the Drawing mode and Behavior - Like: Wireframe and Solid... Culling and so on :)

Maybe do you have a better and more "straight forward" idea how to rename this?

Yes Path's are really only for .. paths... outlines.. splines line... not solid surfaces.

Thanks a bunch and
