Designer Freezes when deleting a Layer in Hirachy View

Post by Eric_RD » 01 Mar 2017, 12:26

When you delete a Layer in the Hierachy Window (Click on Eye in Hierachy Window (Top Right) -> Use for Layers) Ventuz Designer freezes immediately and has to be killed via Task Manager.

Hello,

i tried to replicate it;

Created a new scene, switched to "use Hierarchy Editor to edit Layers".
Created a 3D Layer
Created a Group Layer
Created some more 3D Layer and Copied them behind the Group Layer

Deleted one after another inside the Hierarchy Editor Layer Edit... no crash so far.

Maybe its related to the "unlinked item"?
Can you send me this scene to support(at) which causes the crash? Would be very helpful!
Thanks and regArts
Dee

Hmm I can't reproduce it anymore.
Maybe shutting down Windows over night helped.
The unliked item appeared right after pressing "del" on a layer and right before the Freeze.
Now everything works as expected (Layer disappears).
Anyway thanks for your quick reply. I will come back if it happens again ;)
Eric
