Ventuz 5 Designer Crash on Startup

Hey,
after trying the Designer5-DEMO and hooking up my Vive-HMD as Ventuz-Output everything worked fine, I had Ventuz output to the Vive without problems.

But while downloading Tutorial-Files from within the running Ventuz-App, I closed the running Ventuz app from within the STEAM environment by mistake.

--> Ventuz crashed.

I tried to re-open it, but while the initialising-process ("...hardware init...") the screen froze white, the app hangs. Windows quits the app.

I deinstalled, re-installed the app, deletet the vive-output-setup in the ventuz-manager, disconnected the vive, re-connected etc.

But still: freeze on startup (app hangs).

Any idea what could help? Thank you!

Hey,

I just solved the problem:

After de-installing Ventuz still some files were left in

\User\Public\PublicDocuments\Ventuz5

I deleted that whole folder, reinstalled without vive connected and voilá - VENTUZ is alive again.
