Designer UI on High DPI screens

Post by Joe Styles » 16 May 2017, 17:02

Looking forward to working with the latest release!

Is there any plan to adapt the Designer UI to work with high DPI settings? Sometimes I use a 4k screen with a scaling of 150% which in windows looks great but most of Ventuz doesn't support it. When working on really big scenes it can be great in the content window when zooming in and out but some of the UI is hard to read at 1:1 and the UI doesn't do a good job when you are moving the panel dividers and windows around.

Anybody else work with a 4K screen when designing?

But beside that: native High DPI / Scaling support would be perfect ;)

That would be nice :) Thanks for the links though, I'll have a go.

@Ventuz does the new .net framework 4.7 help with this? Saw a mention in one of the presentations from MS Build event that all winforms apps should enter the DPI scaling mode much better now. Using the manifest trick for now, but native support would probably be even better :-)
