Font problems migrating to Ventuz 5

Post by Etienne » 04 Feb 2017, 01:35

Hello,

I have noticed that some of the text from Ventuz 4 scenes shows up slightly differently in Ventuz 5. For example, one text region is lower by a few pixels than how it shows in Ventuz 4 while others (using similar setup: EnrichedBlockText with ShrinkToFit) are unaffected. Is there anything I should be careful about? I would like to keep my scenes compatible with both versions.

Thanks for your help,

Etienne Laneville

Hi buddy! How are you?!
There is a decent document about migrating Fonts from V4 to V5 burried in the manual:
http://www.ventuz.com/support/help/late ... youtEngine

Depending on the font and settings you have to use it might get really tricky to make the scenes compatible with both versions.

I hope that helps. Cheers
Chris

Thanks Chris, I should RTFM! We are not opposed to adjusting our scenes for V5 if that needs to be done, we should be working with V5 at this point!

See you in LA soon I hope!

Etienne
