Hey!

Does anyone have a sample Project for Remote render to disk to share?

And, has there been any Changes made to this from V4 to V5, is the remote render to disk still only in the old Remoting 2 API?

Hi Sam!

Yes we have something
But this is more like a test code for us than an official demo.
To try it out start Designer or Runtime (Runtime needs the Remote R2D Option);
'Connect' with the client and load a scene;
click 'Render to Disk' and 'Connect' in the R2D dialog;
configure the recording options;
press 'Start Render2Disk' until it looks like in the screenshot;
adapt 'Time' and trigger Events or send new data/properties -> change 'Time' and send new data;
press 'Stop Recording';
press 'Playout'
