Ventuz 5.2 released!

Post by stephen » 18 Oct 2016, 14:14

Check the next Ventuz 5 Version:
Download Ventuz 5.2

We now support the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift for Virtual Reality applications.
Also we added Real-Time Shadows, enhanced the In-Renderer Edit Camera Navigation and improved the Ventuz Designer Workflow around Layers and IPP Effects - e.g. with the newly introduced Effect Node you can now add the Image Post Processing Effects to singly Branches of your Hierarchy Tree.

Check the Release Notes for a lot more new features and our Release Video:

Thank you for the nice update, a lot of new features... great.
FEATURE F8094 Added statistics entry for camera tracking system.... really cool, may be it is possible to get a info node for that too. So, we can trigger events depending of the position of the tracked camera.
This would be nice...

thank's

hi,

@Gotz_B
I asked since I cannot understand what "on the Layer Editor in LE" means. Please let me know. :)

Thanks for great work! I like 5.2 a lot!!

Ah, ooops...
Yes, sorry, it should be "on the Layer in LE". (LE means Layer Editor)

FEATURE F8096 Layers and Hierarchy nodes can set/unset the Render Point by holding the ALT key and click on a Layer in the Layer Editor or on a Node in Hierarchy Editor

I'm really happy, especially for new effects-node. This speeds up my workflow extremely.
So it's time to say goodbye v4. Thank you ventuz developers.

Awesome update!

I plugged in my ancient DK2 the instant I saw this announcement on my twitter feed. It works! Can't wait to port all my stuff into VR.
