Hello,
today I tried to use Volume Textures with Ventuz. I created a Volume Map with transparency in the DirectX Texture Tool and imported this DDS Texture in Ventuz. I connected it with a 3D-Mapping Node and changed the MappingMode to 4D. I used a Cube as Geometry. But it didnt use the "slices" saved in the Volume Map. It just projected on the outer sides of the Cube, just like a 2D-Texture would. It was also not possible to show just a certain slice. How can I use Volume Textures in Venutz properly? And what would be possible applications?

Hi,
currently you can use Volume Texture only with HLSL Shaders; check out the attached scene.
Best Regards
Karol
