how to record a demo into small file

Post by alfred » 07 Apr 2013, 05:21

I created a company presetation which lasts about two and half minutes, the resolution is 1920*1080. I tried to record it via HD camera, but the recorded file is about 800MB. After that I tried render-to-disk, and it was bigger. How to make the recorded file smaller, i.e, 50-60MB, like the demo on youtube.

Thx
Alfred

Hi Alfred!

Ventuz Render-To-Disk outputs an image sequence. You could e.g. use Quicktime Pro as a very simple tool to create an movie from it. If you use H.264 as movie codec it's possible to create very small files even for HD content.
The size of your file depends on the quality of the encoding.

Best Regards
Karol
