Layout design with three outputs

Post by Carlos » 07 Mar 2013, 11:21

Hey there! I'm struggling with this and I can't find the way to sort it out.

I have a project in which I'll have a large LED display and two plasma displays, one on each side.
The idea is to have the plasmas as some kind of controller, but integrated on the same background.
I've been looking through the help files, on the layout chapter, but I don't know how to set it up.
How can I set up my production in order to retain the relative sizes between the different display sizes?

And something else: What would you do, make one project and split one of the outputs to the two plasmas, or two projects (one for the plasma screen and one for the LED wall) and synchronizing both of them? I found that this could be quite frustrating...

Thank you in advance!

Cant you just build an Eyefinity/mosaique display group and build your scene in virtual e.g. 5760*1080?

I could, if my nvidia card had 3 active outputs, but it's not the case :)

If you have 3 outputs on your Graphics card you could use an active adapter - also not possible?

Didn't know about that! :)

Let me check it on my Quadro 5000 and I'll get back to you.

Thank you!

Watch which adapter you try
Not all "non USB" Adapters work in all setups.
