Hi Robert,
You got it right, the remote runtime does not know anything about the pipe the templates are cued in Director.
I would use a dedicated SystemID or MachineName to identify it as a preview machine.

The question is not how but why?
Animating a property of a Hierarchy Container inside another Hierarchy Container in V4 or V5?
The only moment when it gets annoying is during porting a V4 to a V5 project and we constantly try to improve that.

Check the Transition rules. You can still do what you want by disbabling Allow Turnaround.
It is new in V5 and enabled by default.

Tested it on a Dell Precision 7510 on the Intel HD530 and the Nvidia card. Both worked fine .

I didn't manage to reproduce it over here. Have you tried to disbale Optimus?
We had several issues with that in the past.

Hi there, From V4 to V5 we completly changed the Text Layouting because we had several issues in the past. Actually the Position of some Fonts is changing through the layouting changes.
