Re: Alpha transition

You are welcome. And don't worry about asking. It's not a stupid question at all. It is one of the most complicated topics there is. I'm just glad that in your case there is a simple solution.

Re: Alpha transition

Have you tried the Z-Sort node? That should help with your setup.

I have been working on several mapping projects and boy, the other applications do put Ventuz to shame in that regard. Some sort of projection mapping setup tool and PreViz helper would be a great new feature indeed.

Re: Movie Frame

Hello Agalar! I hope all is well. I cannot test myself if there is that problem but as a workaround just convert your PNG sequences into movie files with HAP codec. HAP codec supports alpha channel and Ventuz runs very well with it. I am working on a project where I converted PNG sequences to HAP cl...

Re: How to set pixel dimensions of snapshot to disk/clipboar

Yes that's odd. If I want screenshots in Designer at 1080p exactly, regardless of my Render Window size I simply create a RenderSetup as seen in the attachment and then activate that in the Stage Editor. But I usually also have the Project Settings in the same resolution so the aspect ratio matches....

Re: How to set pixel dimensions of snapshot to disk/clipboar

By default Ventuz5 will always render at the current size of the Render Window in the Aspect Ratio you define in Project Settings. If you want any other resolution, you just have to create Render Output setup in the Machine Configuration Editor. It\s really quick and you can launch it from the Stage...

Re: Auto resize rectangle size with text length

Right to Left does not matter to Ventuz. Everything works exactly the same in Arabic. Just make sure that you select "RightToLeft" in the Block Text node.

Re: huge resolution render to disk

Render2Disk works for me. I just tried 16000 x 16000 pixels with PNG output on the latest V5.03.01
What output format are you using? Could that be the problem?

Re: Auto resize rectangle size with text length

If you have Shrink2Fit, then you only have to check for each line whether the width of your text is shorter or longer than the Shrink2Fit width. That's a small expression that does the trick and can be added to each text line. If the text is longer than the shrink2fit width you assign that width as ...
