Re: Multiple Ventuz instances

Hi Robert,

it is not possible to avoid this message.
This message appears to make users aware of the missing (remoting) functionality.
If we would not present this 'hard' notification, people would wonder why they could not communicate with Ventuz.

Cheers

Re: Animation sequence problem??

Hi Wanzi!

Why is the Movie Frame node not working for you? What kind of codec are you using?
The best way would be to load the movie on demand with the Movie Frame node in asynchronous mode.
Probably you have to transcode your clups to another codec.

Re: Bevel Intersect Mesh Text

Hi Sam,

we know about this issue,
But this is really complicated to avoid. I once tried to handle such situation but the results caused problems elsewhere.
Tessellation is a real science! :)

Re: Embedded Ventuz-window in custom playout

Hi,
this is officially not supported in Ventuz 3 (might change with Ventuz 4).
But it is not impossible if you have deeper insights in Windows programming :)

Re: Multiple Ventuz instances

Hi Robert,

it is possible to start multiple Ventuz instances but this is not officially supported.
There are some draw-backs:
- exclusive Fullscreen is only available for one instance
- same communication ports can only be used by one application

MEH!
If you want to install an older version, you have to un-install the newer version before!

Re: 3.6 & 3.7 Installer

Hi Joe, we encountered this problem here only occasionally. But it was not necessary to reboot - just restarting the installer helped. I will issue a bug ticket for this. The problems are that his happens very rarely on our developer machines and the installer is a third-party component. Cheers Karol

Re: requests and ideas to accelerate production

Hi Robert, thank you for your detailed ideas and feedback! We will implement some of your suggestions - but not in Ventuz 3 anymore. Ventuz 3 updates will only get bug-fixes and probably some minor changes. We are now focused on the development of Ventuz 4. 1. Ability to merge animation inside anoth...

We have a FFmpeg-based Streaming node on the roadmap - but not for Ventuz 3 anymore.
