Will not be possible: If you take a look what happens if you load a font in ventuz, you will notice the font needs to generate the glyphs everytime - this is where the font gets build in 2D/3D for ventuz. This may take some seconds... meanwhile the world could go suffer and the font will be prepared...

You can bind the Index to whatever you want and therefore get the actual index

You mean when the backface is facing towards the camera and has the directional light hitting the frontface...
Anyway Yes it flickers.... because...
