Maybe you can have a look inside the manual looking for
"Arranger" (as Agalar already said), "Layout" and "Ticker".
So you don't need the scroll text node
Just arrange normal 2D Block Texts and let them scroll with the ticker....

I've not heared of that so: maybe but most certanly not. What you can do is: Load the configurations (AV/Machine/Render) and set the parameters you want via remoting. But for AV and Machine Config this has to be done before Ventuz is running so you would need an external tool to do a startup routine...
