Re: 3D bones/Rigs and kinect
Hi, we would love to do bone animation in the future. But for the moment the road map is already more than packed. I guess you know that many devices like the Kinnect can be connected through the script node. The thing about integrating devices like the Kinnect in a software is that you have to rely...

Re: Block Content
Sounds like an interesting feature for advanced users. I will put it on the "features to consider" list.

Re: Advanced Stencils
Hi Greg, Reference is the actual value which is tested against. The mask is applied to the reference value before the test. The mask can be used to use only certain bits of the reference value. It's is a bit wise AND operation. 3 in binary code is 0011. So applying this mask to a reference value, me...

Re: Multiple Machines with 3D Layer Reference
Hi, that is a side effect of a layer performance optimization. The layer system recognizes if a layer is not in the render area of that machine at all and does not render it. In your case, I believe your Social Wall layer matches exactly machine number 3. So it is not in the render area of machine n...

Re: How to access director templates and/or page data
Hi,
the pages are xml files in the page folder in your project folder. They can be edited. The Templates are in the scene files, which you can not edit yourself.

Re: One Touch
Move to content?
The Axis and Touch Button are hierarchy nodes, the mover is a content node.
If you select the axis and the touch button they become visible in the content editor so you can bind them to the mover.

Re: layout scene can not put a template layer
Hi, first of all, if you want to control template with director, you just need scene layers/ports in your layout scene. You only need template layer when you want to control templates by yourself - for example in the scene logic. Second, the issue that you cant put template layers in the layout scen...

Re: How do I map a wide area to a single output?
Hi Robert, you use the Render Setup for this. The way it works is: - you start with your desired output. ( 1920 x 1080 ) - where you cut the pieces in this output will define where they will be in the signal ( like your image ) - then arrange your pieces to your design layout ( your 3968x128 strips ...

Re: Win mouse and Direct Input mouse not giving the same res
Hi, right, there seems to be sth wrong with the validation mechanism of the Windows Mouse Node. We will check it. Rou's workaround works - using a mover to force the validation every frame. But probably you don't need a workaround: In V5.2 we added Touch Groups. In the Machine Config you could set t...

Re: System Edition
Hi Joe,
Broadcast and Pro Edition does not exist anymore after V3. Thus the Edition Property also doesn't exist anymore. Check your scene, the property isn't there.
