Re: Key n Fill setup on SDI licence with DeckLink Duo
The decklink duo is an odd card... http://www.blackmagicdesign.com/products/decklink/techspecs#4041 Although it looks like a single board with two in and two out, it actually is two logical completely independent boards with one in and one out each - on the same PCB. That's how it is presented in th...

Re: Live input random initialisation
Your problem seems to be related to a driver problem with Deltacast boards since Windows Vista. We will update the Ventuz documentation in the next release with the following text: Sometimes, initializing Deltacast boards will fail with the following error meessage: Starting video stream failed. Som...

Re: Shaping Tool - Moving Point without warping
I was able to reproduce both problems and fix them. The fix will be included in Ventuz 4.02.01. Thanks for the feedback. About the subdivide problem: Currently the original layer is reset when subdividing. This is not intended and will be fixed in the next release. The new, subdivided layer should c...

Re: Masking Output
Hi, you can always render a mask on top of your scene with an overlay or rectangle node. This should be ok for a more or less planar projection. if you are doing some crazy 3d projection mapping you will notice that the mask gets warped along with the rendering, and that might be a problem. I'd like...

Re: deltcast input turns white.
The error message indicates that you are mixing video signals with 1000/1000 and 1000/1001 clocks, like 60 and 59.94 Hz. (or 50 and 59.94 Hz). Deltacast cards can't handle this situation. I assume you have two inputs that are set to autodetect. I would suggest you try set them manually to the expect...

Re: Movie giving green pixels to Right
We have tried Quicktime, Windows Media Player and ffplay, and they show the same result, so this problem is not specific to Ventuz. The video has a width of 1906 pixel, and is encoded with h264. H264 usually uses a block size of 8x8, so I suggest you try re-encoding the video with a width dividable ...

Re: Q: Morphing via shader
Unfortunately, Ventuz can't handle multiple vertex streams or other more complex vertex formats.

Re: Inversed interlacing
Can you please tell me which video format are you using and which device are you using to view the signal? That would help reproducing the problem.
Thanks in advance,
Dierk.
