Re: Blackmagic Decklink
First, use any 10.x driver, as the 9.x drivers will not work. We have tested with the 4k extreme board and it worked fine. The way you configured Ventuz (Drag the input and set the video format) seems OK, unless your signal is i50 instead of p25, or something like that. You might want to send us you...

Re: Multi-gpu
Multi-GPU support is planned for Ventuz 5. The real problem here is to maintain performance when doing Render2Texture, like for blur-shaders or any other advanced image post-processing. We are on it!

Re: DVI Input dropping frames
Do you have created an audio-video config or running you on the default "none" config?
If you have created an av config, is the input set to "synchronized" (it should not), and what output device are you using? (SDI?)

Re: Ventuz Performance with huge DDS
The maximum texture size is 16384 x 16384 pixels. This is the same for all current hardware and for DX9, DX11 and OpenGl. Unfortunately there is little indication that newer hardware will move this limit up, because it depends on the precision of the 32 bit floating point arithmetic used by the GPU,...

Re: M-AUDIO ProFire 610 - crashes Ventuz
I was able to reproduce the problem. This should be fixed in the upcoming Ventuz 4.05.00 release. In the meantime, you should try to configure your interface to 8 (mono) channels, if that is possible. For best quality and performance, all audio should be configured to 48000Hz. This is what Ventuz us...

Re: Statistics and Input Diagnostics Shortcut
You can use the Live Options in the Ventuz Config to change the debug settings. If you are running full-screen and no second screen is available, this can be done remotely from a second computer. (The button is located directly below the machine selection popup in the top right corner.) We try to mi...

Re: A Ventuz Plyback Codec
On paper at least, HAP looks underwhelmingly unimpressive. While it is truly quick in decompression, is the quality really acceptable?

Re: blury picture in pixelspace and orthogonal projection
If you switch texture filtering to point filtering (from anisotropic or linear), there will be no blurring, assuming there is no scaling. The only danger is that if the coordinates are exactly in the middle between two pixels, the GPU might round different for some of the vertices. This will result ...

Re: blury picture in pixelspace and orthogonal projection
This 0.5 pixel offset has to do with an "unfortunate" design decision in DirectX 9 (compared to OpenGL). It has to do with the definition of where the pixel center actually is inside a pixel. Microsoft switched to the more intuitive rules of OpenGL with DirectX 10 and later, but for now we...

You are right!
We will fix.
You can assume that if no driver is displayed, your driver is correct.
