Re: Install Ventuz - USB dongle install?

Hi, looks like you have to activate the dongle. You need a machine with internet access. Than insert the dongle and open the License Manager. There should be a button called "Update License" i think. After that, you should see sth like 'Ventuz 4 Runtime, Designer....' where you now see Lic...

Re: designer dongle / presenter dongle on the same machine

Hi, yes, that is expected behaviour. When you start Ventuz it checks all valid licenses and creates a temporary license for this session. If you remove one of the dongles, it breaks this "session license", even if you have a correct license left in your machine. So you have to quit and res...

Re: Check if DIRECTORY exists?

Hi Dondi, you can use .NET functions in expressions. The Directory-Class is helpful in your case. It has an exists method. There are other useful classes in the System.IO Namespace when you work on filenames - for example the Path-Class to get fileextensions etc. To use these in an expression you ha...

Re: DIRECTOR MULTICHANNEL FEATURE

Hi, for the project in the video - and also for other projects that require different aspects for different scenes - we just set the project aspect to 1:1 ( doesn't really matter actually ). Then overwrite the aspect in the scene with a projection set to the correct aspect. In the video, it's like A...

Re: touch translation reset

Ah, ok. No, not between two runtime starts.
It just stays at the position where you saved your scene in Designer.
I think we dont save anything when you close the Runtime...!?

Re: touch translation reset

Tach!

Did you change any of the settings of the touch node?
Cause when i drag it to a fresh scene with just a rectangle behind and only disable 'reset on load' without changing anything else, it works as expected...!?

Götz

Re: objects scale problem

Turn on "Monitor Values" in the top right corner of the properties editor.

The Animation Editor also has this button.

Re: compass project(practice)

Hi, the way you build your scene obviously cannot work as expected. You want to show the data depending on where your ball is, no matter if moved clockwise or counterclockwise. But all you do is hitting next when the ball has stopped its movement. So you always go through your animation sequentially...
