Re: Connect control of keyframe animation
Almost thought so. :) What about the other way around? Placing another Color Value inside your Content Container, binding its value to the Animation and exposing it (thus making it an output) and then binding the Color-Input of your Scene Port to the exposed value? Still an extra Node, but the Anima...

Re: New to Ventuz - Testing Inside Designer
Hi Chris, I'm not really sure about what you are trying to achieve. But as far as I understand you want to create Templates for the Ventuz Director. You created an Animation for a Template and bound some properties to the Animation Data in the Data View of the Animation Editor. The problem is that y...

Re: Using a slide manager in Ventuz5
Hi Olivier,
the Movie Gamma bug is fixed - this will be released with the next Ventuz Version (V5.0.2 or V5.1.0).
The Texture Loader has a Gamma Hint property. Setting it to Gamma 2-2 should fix this.
Regards,
Stephen

Re: Using a slide manager in Ventuz5
Hi Olivier, you are right! What we are missing is a Gamma Hint for Movie Nodes. By default Images use the right Gamma for their Textures (see the Gamma Hint property in a Texture Loader Property Group of e.g. a Material Node, it is set to Auto ). We do not have that for Movies. I have created a Tick...

Re: Select state Marker
Hey christian, are you aware of Shift+Click for multiselection of State Markers? Also by selecting all Keyframes of a State you will move the corresponding state with them. And for Keyframes there is a Selection Box while holding Shift. It's still not as comfortable but probably this can make life a...

Re: Using a slide manager in Ventuz5
Hi Olivier, the old V4 Color and Material Nodes do not work properly in V5, especially in HDR Layers - because of the different Gamma which the old nodes are not aware of. So in order to be able to work in the same Layer you will have to use V5 Nodes only. To replace the Nodes you may use the Scene ...

Re: How to unlock the rest of the Camera Nodes? thx
Hi kberraho, you can place a Camera Node inside your 3D Layer. In its properties you can find the View Property Group. By clicking on the arrow on the right you can choose which kind of Camera you want to use: Standerd, Orbit, Look At or a custom Matrix. Camera.png Also make sure that you use your c...

Re: Connect control of keyframe animation
Hi christian, Can you describe what you want to achieve? Why does the Color Node have to be outside the Content Container and why does the Animation Node need to be inside? You can still trigger the Animation by exposing the Events inside the Content Container and bind them to the Animation Node's M...

Re: No Menu bar, no option tab
Hi kberraho, yes you are right, the Video Tutorials were made for Ventuz 4 - in Ventuz 5 we changed a lot of the User Interface to make it more accessible and remove all redundant Buttons and Options. So everything you see in the V4 Tutorials should still be available in the Ventuz 5 UI, but very of...
