Re: How to input a coordinat array into a line graph chart v

oh! That is easy - simply make a straight line chart that stretches across the whole screen in X, then apply the polar distortion effect on the layer. That is how you do it in after effects, too. here is an example, make sure you have an audio input set up in your configuration. polarcoordinates.vza

You can even drag an Excel Cell (hold control and drag the border of the cell) directly into the content editor!

Re: How to input a coordinat array into a line graph chart v

Hey,

the line graph only allows you to set the Y position for each data point, the X is always at fixed intervals. Can you tell me what you are trying to do? The only thing I can imagine is you are trying to build an etch-a-sketch....

Re: how to extract an array of values from a Spread node?

Cool idea! Can't do it, though... the spreader generates instanced geometry, not the actual positional values. What are you trying to achieve?

Re: Render Target

Hey, just to be clear, no argument from our side! A whole ton of things happened on the UI side, obviously, with a huge (mostly positive) impact on workflow. Additionally, one of the things we tried to do was reduce the initial information overload / ventuz confusion on new users. Between the two, t...

Ah Olivier, okay, that makes sense.

And no the Slide Manager is actually kind of outdated itself, so it really doesnt work well with the Layer system. We are working on that problem though, stay tuned.

Re: I can't find the BlurTexture Simple in Ventuz5

Just be aware that those nodes are not meant for use in V5 (which is why they are hidden), but are only there for backwards compatibility. You can do all of those things through layers more efficiently, because you can output the content of a layer to a render target in v5. if you find something you...

Re: Incorrect display 4k interface

Hey guys, one thing I found in Windows 10 is that you have to set it to 100% first, but then you can actually set it to a different setting afterwards and it seems to work. So, set it to 100%, enjoy the itty bitty icons for a second, (sometimes you have to re-log), and then set it to 150% or 200%. F...

Re: SPOUT

We have some ideas... Given we just got v5 out the door, I won't promise anything in terms of timeframe though :)

Ieterestingly, you can already do pretty much the same thing with the VIO api in Ventuz. However, it requires a license and quite a bit of know-how. It certainly isnt plug-and-play.
